He Is Worthy

God, Our Teacher

GOD, Our Teacher
Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name. (詩篇 86:11) #FearOfTheLord #MyPrayer

‘Yarah’ throw, shoot. In the simple Qal form … means “to throw, to cast” (cf.
the shooting of arrows, 1 Sam. 20 :36). But in the causative Hiphil, the verb means “to direct, to point the way” (cf. the throwing out of one’s finger to point the way, Gen. 46:28, ASV). Teaching or educating is a matter of guiding, directing, pointing the way.

My prayer:
I see You as an Archer and I am as a bow in Your hands. Teach me Your way. Point me in the direction of Your way; throw me, shoot me where You will with all precision and force.

I see You as my Rabbi, patiently teaching and bringing light.
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. Psalm 119:130 May Your words have entrance in me, may they fall on good ground, take root.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105
God is exalted in his power. Who is a teacher like him? Job 36:22

I see You as my Guide. Teach me thy way, Jehovah, and lead me in an even path, because of mine enemies. Psalm 27:11
Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. Psalm 25:4,5
Instruct me, guide me, teach me, and my heart will respond accordingly; I will walk in Your truth.

May your grace, oh God, teach me to say “no” to ungodliness and “yes” to You. Titus 2:12

Shine No Matter Where You Are

Today I’m hungry

To grow, learn, live and give

I want my life to mean something to others

I long to know God more and make Him known

Lord, use me and all the gifts that you’ve given me

To help others, to life people up

Where I am weak and lacking, make me strong

I want to shine for you! 😀

Tú me mueves

Como ola de mar

sin tener que pisar

balanceada entre tus brazos

Tú me mueves

Como pluma ligera

ingrávida e ilusa

llevada por tu brisa

 Tú me mueves

Como rima nocturna

fugaz e importuna

emocionada por tus palabras

Tú me mueves

Breathe – William Trubridge

Awe-inspiring… The more I watch this video, the more I find myself mesmerized by the sheer audacity, dedication, discipline, and focus that is so evident in this diver. Though I don’t know him personally, this video speaks volumes about him and stirs a deep respect in me for the kind of person I can imagine that he’d be.
I can envision him training day in and day out for this one moment in time. The lonely, cold hours he must have spent diving deep and doing nothing else but focusing on his breathing and perfecting his form.
I’ve come to believe that in life, a lot of what we do is just that, living life daily all the while endeavoring to improve our form and attempting each day to do it just a little better, to go a little deeper, to climb a little higher.
In all of this our journey, let’s not forget to breathe…
